I had set up an appointment to bring my car in at noon for a lube, oil and filter change. The shop was packed when I arrived and my hopes of being out of there in 45 minutes didn't look promising. James "checked in"my car and told me he would try to get me in and out as soon as he could, but it could be an hour and a half wait. Carlos is a star in the service writer job. He makes sure I don’t get charged for redundant flat rate labor for procedures that have some of the same steps at the same visit. We have eight Hondas in our family and Carlos is one reason why.

The service department at Performance Honda of Bountiful has always been great to me. Tyler Vance is an awesome service writer & has always been good to recommend fixes for issues BEFORE they become actual issues. I love the video inspection they give & the lube techs always seem to know what they are doing. I also love their 3 oil change specials. I’ve purchased several throughout the years. I hope they continue that because I just used my last one. Keep doing good things service people!

Had a flat tire that also damaged some trim around the wheel. I got an appointment the day I called and everything was done in a little over an hour. Delighted to get that kind of service and the peace of mind having a road worthy vehicle.

My wife told them not at this time. The advisor then said, well, we can call your husband to ask him. My wife said this is my car and I’m saying not right now. They then said well, we can call the person listed on the account (which is me) to get approval. She again so no, we do not want the additional service. Why they kept pushing her and saying they can call other people for approval is beyond me. Update: I spoke with the service manager who was genuinely concerned and apologetic for this interaction. He found the service advisor (who I won’t name here) in the system and set our account not to work with him. He also said he will conduct a training with his staff.

I have never received this level of service before. Not only was the service comprehensive and performed to Honda Specifications, but the speed and ability to pick up my vehicle after the service department hours was just fantastic. The services I got were reasonably priced, and they even went through the trouble of sending me several videos detailing problem areas on the vehicle. The turnaround time put a huge grin on my face. The team here is100% vested in insuring that their customers got back on the road NASCAR fast. I thought the car would be downed for at least a week, but they had the parts on hand and were able to get me back on the road the following day. They even offered to drive me around in the interim. They also provided me with a 12 month or 12,000-mile warranty on their work. Big thanks to Brit, Gabriel, and Angel along with the rest of the team here who helped to get me tuned up and back on the road.

Thanks Brittney for taking care of us. You are a great service advisor.

There is no thank you big enough! I had a super obnoxious popping noise under a Honda Pilot my husband and I bought at auction. I have done extensive repairs on many, many makes and models of cars and trucks but this one stupid noise was kicking my trash. I read Honda forums, I Googled, I ChatGPT’d, I tried it all (or so I thought). I finally broke down and took it to a shop. They said they were 99% sure it was the struts. I replaced the struts. Didn’t work. Another shop. They said it was the inner tie rod on one side. I doubted it but I replaced inner and outer tie rods on both sides. Cuz apparently I’ve got nothing better to do than live under this car. Yet another shop. He simply had no idea. So against ALL my better judgment, I decided to take it to Performance Honda—not because I didn’t trust Performace itself, but because I don’t trust dealerships. Don’t judge, you know you feel the same. I called and talked to Nick in the service department and explained my whole harrowing tale. I said I wasn’t bringing it in unless he could tell me then and there that he had heard of this issue before and had a good idea what it was because I wasn’t paying for one more diagnosis that got me nowhere. He very patiently, kindly, and professionally told me he understood my frustration and asked me to bring it in. I went out of faith/desperation. My technician (Robert, I think), sent me a video a couple hours later showing me cross-member bolts that had come loose. He tightened them. No more noise. I had tightened and retightened all the subframe bolts I could think of—but not those. They didn’t even charge me and I went home noise free. I don’t throw around the word hero lightly, but if the cape fits….. THANK YOU, Nick, Robert, and Performance Honda of Bountiful! You may have saved me from a white coat and a padded room.
