Entry-Level Technician
$28,000-$33,000
As an entry-level technician, you'll receive the Express Level Certification through Honda. Additionally, a Starter Tool Kit will be provided on consignment until your next-level graduation. After that graduation, the tools become yours.
Maintenance Technician
$34,000 – $41,000
Maintenance technicians will also receive the Express Level Certification and learn additional services that can be completed in 10 to 12 weeks. Tuition for automotive classes will be reimbursed.
C Tech
$42,000 – $55,000
As a C Tech, you'll join one of the teams in the main shop and enroll in an accelerated training program. You'll also be assigned a Master Level Technician to act as your mentor, who will oversee all your repairs.
B Tech
$42,000 – $55,000
B Techs will enroll in accelerated, expert-level training through the OEM.
Master Technician
$91,000 – $110,000+
Have what it takes to be a Master Technician? As an automotive expert, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with engineers from Honda factories.
What To Expect As An Automotive Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair brake, exhaust, fuel, ignition, and electrical systems
- Perform suspension and alignment repairs
- Explain diagnoses and recommended repairs to the Service Advisor
- Review repairs and test drive with customers as requested
- Continuously learn new technical information to keep up with advancements in automotive technology
- Coach and mentor newer technicians to build strong, confident teams
- Maintain a neat, organized service bay
Additional Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- FCA certifications preferred, but not required
- Basic computer literacy
- Good driving record
